Well this is me here <<<<< no not the one with the beard. The other one!
Anyway this is me. Carly: graphic designer, web designer, crafter, (is that even a word?), wife, and soon to be mama!
Here's my story:
Lived my entire life outside DC. First in Maryland then in Northern Virginia. I don't really remember the Maryland times.... Anyway growing up in the DC area has always be interesting, always something to do! Explains why when I went to college in lovely Savannah, Georgia at Savannah College of Art and Design once school was done I was ready to come home. Let's just say I prefer having sometime to do at all times if I can and a lot of it is even free! Anyway lets go onto the story of how I met my husband. We actually met while I was on a date with another guy... OUCH! Not really.... Let's just say there is a time in your life when if the dates and food are free you might as well go on every date you can. The guy I was on the date with was a friend of a friend of my husband. So it's not like they were really friends, they knew of each other, that's about it. Anyway halfway through the night I start talking to my husband and find out we went to the same college. Well usually that starts a million other conversations. O you remember this place, and this place, and this was so awesome, etc..... Anyway at the end of the night I tried to give my husband my number and he just kept telling me I couldn't in front of "these guys". He told me he'd find me. I walked away from the night thinking that was a bunch of bunk. Well I got home that night after a horrible ride home with my date and my husband had friended me on Facebook! Thank goodness for social media! The rest is history. Dating, engagement, married. You get the point.
Now we're on to the next step of our lives. Getting ready for this baby to come. So far it's been a bit crazy, but good. Read the blog for more info!
